Tsugi describes the concept: dancers Jena Divol and Valentin Beaufils translate snare, synthesizer, percussion and bass into distinct movements, and on the sung passages Belaria’s face is projected onto their bodies. Belaria is a French DJ and producer who founded her label Binding System in November 2024; the track led her EP Dynamic State, released on 16 January 2026.
The edit won a prize in Berlin in 2026, where the jury said the cutting had become inseparable from the music. Editing to new wave and EBM is easy to make mechanical; this is the opposite.
